Noor El Marifaa Association implemented a rodent control project across several areas of the Central Governorate as part of its ongoing efforts to improve environmental conditions, promote community health, and reduce the health and environmental risks associated with the spread of rodents.
The project activities included removing rubble, cleaning streets and residential surroundings, and distributing traps designed for rats and weasels. Nearly 1,000 families benefited from the intervention across the targeted communities.
These activities aimed to reduce rodent infestations, prevent diseases and health risks associated with their spread, and improve general sanitation, contributing to a healthier and safer living environment for families and local residents.
The project was implemented through a well-organized field plan in coordination with the Association’s staff, volunteers, and relevant stakeholders, ensuring the efficient delivery of activities and reaching as many vulnerable families as possible.
Noor El Marifaa Association affirmed that the project forms part of its environmental and public health programmes aimed at promoting community health, improving living conditions, and responding to the growing needs of local communities amid challenging humanitarian conditions.
The Association also expressed its sincere appreciation to all partners and supporting organizations that contributed to the success of the project, praying that Allah bless their efforts and reward them abundantly
